LABIAPLASTY

Empower your comfort.

“Labiaplasty is not just Cosmetic. For many, it reduces physical discomfort and restores emotional comfort in intimacy.”

- Dr. Parag Mahadik

What is Labiaplasty?

At Esmée Clinic, labiaplasty is not about conforming to a universal standard of beauty—it’s about helping you feel more at ease, more confident, and more yourself.

What Is accepted as normal standards are the relative positions of the 4 genital elements. They serve as guidelines for surgeons - Labia Minora (inner lips) should be covered entirely by the Labia majora (outer lips), Clitoral Hood (skin covering the clitoris) overhang, should not cover the clitoris completely, Mons pubis should not be bulky and saggy to be unsightly through the clothes, Labia majora should be plump enough, just to cover the menorah.

They seem ‘abnormal’ when inner lips (labia minora) protrude out more than the outer lips (Labia majora). The Labia may also lose volume with age and appear deflated and flat exposing the vagina. This makes women anxious and self conscious about their unsightly genitals. It is also uncomfortable when they can’t wear swimsuits and other tight clothes at gyms and socially. Many become nervous in bed with lost confidence.

Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure designed to reshape or reduce the labia minora (inner lips) or labia majora (outer lips) of the vulva. It can be performed for aesthetic refinement, to correct asymmetry, or to relieve discomfort caused by excess or stretched tissue. Because labial anatomy varies widely among women in size, shape, color, and proportion, there is no "normal"—only what feels right and comfortable for you.

BENEFITS OF LABIAPLASTY

Labiaplasty can offer both physical and emotional improvements:

  • Relief from irritation, chafing, or tugging during exercise or intimacy
  • Improved confidence when wearing tight clothing or swimwear
  • Enhanced symmetry and appearance of the vulva
  • Better hygiene and reduced discomfort
  • Renewed self-esteem and sexual confidence

Whether you're addressing changes from childbirth, aging, or genetics, labiaplasty provides a tailored solution with long-lasting results.

TYPES & VARIATIONS OF LABIAPLASTY

Labiaplasty surgery is careful surgical manipulation of the delicate tissues to give a more balanced and pleasing aesthetic outcome. The aim is also to reduce functional problems and restore confidence.

There are various techniques of labiaplasty tailored to specific needs. One thing common to all is to achieve the finest scars by hiding them in crease lines so they can't be seen.

  1. Labia Minora Labiaplasty: Refines and reduces the inner lips of the vulva using one or a combination of these techniques listed below.
  2. Labia Majora Labiaplasty: The outer lips may lose volume with ageing when they look flat. This inturn exposes the inner lips and vagina which is unpleasant in appearance. Fat transfer with trimming of the excess skin folds brings you the desired look The Labia Majora can also hypertrophy and gather more fat which will need liposuction and trim excision. Both procedures can be done as a day only procedure under local anaesthesia in the rooms.

No key fits all locks. Dr. Mahadik will examine and assess patients and formulate a customised plan for each. Every woman needs to know what better suits their situation rather than offering them a generic plan.
Sometimes a combination of 2 procedures called ‘composite labiaplasty’ is an answer. However, a detailed consultation is necessary to come to a conclusion.
Dr Mahadik has the breadth of experience with all techniques and is in a best situation to help you out.

Labia Minora Labiaplasty

Most procedures are performed as day surgery under local anaesthesia, with a focus on minimal discomfort and discreet healing.

AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR LABIAPLASTY?

You may be a suitable candidate for labiaplasty if you regularly experience discomfort, irritation, or tugging caused by enlarged labia, or if you feel self-conscious or unhappy with the appearance of your genital area. Concerns such as noticeable asymmetry or changes due to childbirth or aging can also be valid reasons to consider this procedure. It’s important that you are in overall good health, not currently pregnant, and have a clear understanding of what the procedure can realistically achieve.

At Esmée Clinic, we are committed to providing personalized care by carefully listening to your concerns and understanding your goals. Our approach ensures that any recommendation we make is not only appropriate for your physical needs but also supportive of your emotional well-being. We believe in creating a comfortable, respectful environment where you feel empowered to make the best decision for your body.

YOUR LABIAPLASTY RESULTS

Labiaplasty can offer long-lasting, transformative results that significantly enhance daily comfort and personal confidence. Many individuals who undergo the procedure report experiencing greater ease during physical activities, along with increased comfort when wearing fitted clothing. These physical improvements often contribute to a more positive relationship with their bodies and a renewed sense of well-being.

As the body heals, results gradually become more apparent, with swelling steadily diminishing over time. Most patients begin to see the full benefits of their labiaplasty between three to six months after the procedure. This period of recovery allows for a natural evolution of the final outcome, leading to a boost in both sexual confidence and overall self-esteem.
